Hi! I’m Jody and this is a look into my life.

Why am I sharing with you? Well, it’s not because I want attention, my privacy invaded, or another thing added to my to-do list. Those are all the reasons I have been putting this off. Still, there has been something nagging at me to share. Maybe it is because I enjoy knowing that there are other people out there like me. I like to read their stories, watch their videos, and hear their voices. It motivates and inspires me. And maybe it’s because everyone is so lonely in this busy, crowded, overwhelming life, that if I resonate with you and make you feel like you are not alone, then my heart is happy. Because there are days that I feel ALONE but I am too busy to change that.

Who am I? I am a girl just trying to figure out how to do life the best way that I can. I have gone from a little girl who had big dreams of changing the world, to a people-pleasing daughter, then a people-pleasing wife, to the most miserable human, and now… now I am starting to do things the way I want to do them. And maybe, by the time I am old, I will have changed at least 1 person’s world for the better.

I have 3 kids whom I homeschool. I live on 3 acres where we have a large garden, fruit trees, and chickens. I also work at my family’s farm. Our schedule is hectic and we go to bed tired every day, but that is better than being bored and restless.

My house is not a new construction and my life is far from perfect. You will not find a designer anything here, but you will find real life. If you choose to join me, I would love to have you.
