Great Gift Ideas For Kids
I am always looking for good ideas for gifts. Here are some ideas that have been a hit over the years and some new ideas that I think people are going to love. Some of the links are affiliate links. That means that if you choose to purchase one of those items Amazon gives me a few cents for sending you their way. This does not in any way influence what I’ve chosen. I only recommend what I truly like and all my thoughts on the items are my own. I hope that this post helps you find the perfect gift for whoever you are buying for. Happy Holidays!
I read a review of this book a while back and decided to get it for my 9-year-old son (now 10). He loves reading this adventure book and has requested the next one in the series. For Christmas, I am getting him books 2 & 3. They are also making this series into a movie.
Another book set my kids are loving to read is Percy Jackson and the Olympians. My oldest son (10 yrs) reads this series to his brother and sister. There are also movies that go along with the series.
Snap circuits were a hit last year for Christmas. My son loved making these projects, especially the AM radio that actually works! He learned how circuits work and how switches connect or break the circuit. There are bigger and smaller kits to find the right one for your inquisitive child.
Our Generation Dolls from Target are a favorite in my family. My daughter loved to look at the American Girl Doll catalog when it would arrive every November (not sure how they got my address or knew I had a little girl). However, those dolls and their accessories are out of my budget. Our Generation Dolls are very much like American Girl Dolls but much more affordable. This is the doll that my daughter has but there are many to pick from along with a lot of fun outfits and other accessories. This set was $30 (dog included). These dolls are exclusively at Target.
